In a recent video from The Random Canuck on YouTube, the channel's host shares his thoughts on the possibility of Sasquatch in the Banff and Canmore area of Alberta, Canada. During a wildlife tour, the host asked the guide if they had ever seen a Sasquatch in the area, to which they replied negatively. The host was surprised to learn that the wildlife numbers in Banff and Canmore are on the decline, with only 40 black bears in the area, according to the tour guide. The guide also mentioned that there were once 10 wolves in the national park, but they were all shot and killed by hunters when they went out of park boundary. One of the main concerns the host has about the possibility of Sasquatch in the area is the amount of highway traffic and tourism. The host believes that the traffic and tourism in Banff and Canmore have become too much for Sasquatch to handle, and they have likely moved on from the area. The host also mentioned that wildlife overpasses have been in place in the area since the late 1990s, and the park has footage of everything except Sasquatch. A new wildlife overpass is also being built just before Dead Man's Flats. The host also expressed concern about the possibility of Sasquatch going extinct, as he hasn't heard of any new major sightings in Alberta. He also pointed out that Jasper National Park has higher wildlife numbers and a higher bear population than Banff National Park. The host concluded the video by stating that he doesn't know if Sasquatch exists, but he is getting concerned about the possibility of them going extinct. He also mentioned that he will not be doing any more field research in the Banff and Canmore area until he sees more reports come out of that area. You can watch the full video on The Random Canuck's YouTube channel and decide for yourself if you think Sasquatch could be living in the Banff and Canmore area.
