In this episode of BIGFOOT! CAMPFIRE TALK, host William Jevning shares his experiences organizing a Bigfoot-themed event back in 1992. Jevning, a two-time witness and field researcher with over 40 years of experience, was inspired by his encounter in Eagles Cliff Storm Campground in Skamania County, Washington. During his conversation with Kevin Landaker, the campground's owner, Jevning discovered that many people had seen or heard something unusual in the area. This led to an impromptu discussion with around 60 people, where Jevning shared his knowledge and experiences. Later, Jevning and his friend Jack, who worked in marketing for Vancouver Ford, decided to organize a two-day event called the "Second Annual Bigfoot Barbecue and Potluck." The event attracted around 3,000 people and featured presentations, including one by Renee Hintz, who gave a slideshow on her research. Jevning mentions that the event was a huge success, with people bringing their own food and sharing their stories. He also recounts an incident where an individual named Davis Perry attempted to disrupt the event but was handled by Renee and Jevning's team. Overall, this video highlights the community aspect of Bigfoot research and the importance of sharing experiences and knowledge. It's a great reminder that Bigfoot enthusiasts come from all walks of life and that these gatherings can be both educational and enjoyable.
