A chilling tale of a possible encounter with the paranormal has been making the rounds on YouTube, and as a paranormal reporter, I felt compelled to share it with our readers. The story comes from a woman who, while pregnant with her second child, stayed with her husband's family until their new house was ready.
One night, the woman woke up to use the bathroom and noticed a little girl sitting on the top step of the basement stairs. Assuming it was her five-year-old sister-in-law, Carmen, she told her to go back to bed. However, the girl replied, "Mommy, please turn off the oven or we will die." Confused, the woman went to turn off the oven, but when she returned to the stairs, the girl was gone.
The next morning, the woman asked her mother-in-law why Carmen had come downstairs in the middle of the night, but she was assured that Carmen had never left her bed. When she asked Carmen about it, she repeated what her mother had said. The woman's mother-in-law then told her that Carmen was afraid of the dark and would never come downstairs at night.
The woman gave birth to a little girl who looks a lot like her aunt Carmen a month later. Her mother-in-law often reminds her of her nocturnal visitor, leaving the woman to wonder if her little girl visited her while she was still in the womb to save all of their lives.
Another intriguing story comes from a gentleman who, in 1969, went on a hunting trip with his friends. While crossing a holler, a large animal came out of the bush and began chasing them. The group of 12-year-old boys ran for their lives, and the creature was gaining on them when one of the boys fell and sliced his leg open. Instinctively, the man turned and fired his shotgun at the animal, knocking it backwards. The creature then turned and ran away.
The man followed the blood trail and found the creature lying dead 200 yards away. It was a male, seven feet tall and around 500 pounds, with a face that looked more human than gorilla. The man tried to turn it over but couldn't, so he went back to get a camera to take pictures. However, by the time he returned, the creature was gone.
The man and his brother spent the winter tracking and trying to find more of these creatures, but they never found any real evidence. The man believes that the creatures always eat their dead, which is why they never find any Bigfoot remains.
While some may be skeptical of these stories, they are certainly intriguing and worth considering. Who knows, there may be some truth to them.
