In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel of Richard Turgeon, a group of Bigfoot researchers and outdoors enthusiasts embarked on an invite-only expedition through the Wilderness of Six Rivers National Forest, the site of the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage. The group included Tate Hieronymus, Ron Mann Reed of Trailing Giants and his dog Bandit, Terry and her son Stevie, and Robert Lederman and his son Patrick.
During the three-day trip, the group had some strange activity on the second night, which you can read more about on Turgeon's blog. As Turgeon got to know the group, he asked them about what drew them to Bigfoot research and what kind of answers they're hoping to find around this ancient mystery.
Tate Hieronymus, the trip's organizer, got into Bigfoot research as a kid, growing up listening to his aunt's story of seeing one in Missouri. He started taking his research more seriously as an adult and moved to the coast to explore the Bluff Creek area. His long-term goal is to have more experiences and make content that he enjoys.
Ron Mann Reed, of Trailing Giants, has a lifelong appreciation for nature and adventure. He became interested in Bigfoot and cryptozoology in his adolescent life and started taking extensive trips into the wilds. He is attempting to learn more about nature and how everything fits together, and wants to share his journey with others.
Terry, another member of the group, enjoys the Twin Lakes and the cell site in the Little Creek area. She got into Bigfoot research as a kid, but it wasn't until she watched the Legend of Boggy Creek movie that she became more interested. She started putting together presentations as a park ranger and eventually became involved with the BFRO and leading expeditions.
