Appalachian Cricket's Morning with a Family of Sasquatches: New Footage and Observations

A video posted to the YouTube channel Appalachian Cryptid Encounters has been making waves in the Bigfoot community. The video, titled "BREAKING!! Spooky Bigfoot footage taken in Appalachia last night. Aug 2023. Sasquatch on the prowl," features what the channel's owner claims is footage of multiple Sasquatches, including an eight-foot-tall adult and several juveniles. The video's creator explains that they were awakened in the early morning hours by the sound of pebbles being thrown on their porch. They believe it was one of the juvenile Sasquatches trying to get their attention. Unfortunately, their good camera's battery was charging, so they grabbed their cell phone and started filming in landscape mode. The resulting footage is shaky, but it's possible to make out several dark figures in the distance. The video's creator believes that one of the figures is an eight-foot-tall Sasquatch, while the others are smaller juveniles. They point out the conical head, broad shoulders, and massive size of the Sasquatch, as well as the way it seems to be standing protectively over the smaller figures. The video's creator also points out that the Sasquatch seems to be wearing some sort of nocturnal shade lens, which they speculate might be used to help the creature see in the dark. They also note that the Sasquatch seems to be aware of the camera and turns away as the light hits it. Of course, as with any Bigfoot footage, there are skeptics who question the authenticity of the video. Some have pointed out that the figures in the distance could be anything from bears to trees, and that the "nocturnal shade lens" could simply be a reflection or shadow. However, the video's creator stands by their story, and they have a long history of posting videos and photographs of what they claim are cryptid encounters in the Appalachian region. Whether or not you believe the footage, it's certainly an interesting addition to the ongoing search for Bigfoot.
