Oregon Family's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter Near Mount Hood

A chilling encounter with the unknown was recently shared with us here at Squatchable, and we couldn't wait to bring it to you. A family of four found themselves in a terrifying situation while on a day trip in Oregon's beautiful Mount Hood National Forest. As they were driving down a bumpy road, the father, Tim, decided to pull over and investigate a real estate sign for a 10-acre plot of land. The whole family got out of the car to take a closer look, and that's when things took a turn for the worse. Suddenly, a large log came flying out of the forest, narrowly missing Tim and their son. Amy, the mother, quickly shined her flashlight into the woods and heard a series of yelps, followed by a low growl. Then, another whooping sound came from the right side of the car, and Tim yelled at whatever was out there to leave them alone. As Tim and their son frantically tried to get back in the car, a boulder came flying out of the forest and dented the hood. Amy caught a glimpse of a large, shadowy figure moving behind the trees, and she described it as a "hairy shape" that looked like a man but wasn't. The family quickly drove away, with the kids crying in the back seat. They were all shaken by the experience, but Tim and Amy couldn't believe what they had just witnessed. In the days and weeks that followed, the forest in their backyard became an eerie and scary place for Amy. She even had dreams about the creature coming out of the woods to get her. But despite the trauma they experienced, the family has moved on with their lives. They no longer camp in obscure places and have even purchased an RV for added safety.
