A fellow researcher by the name of Ben, from the YouTube channel Northwest Sasquatch Studies and Research, recently shared his experiences and thoughts on Sasquatch movement patterns in a video titled "Sasquatch Research PNW Oregon." Ben describes a recent encounter in a law area where he heard "little steps" that sounded "stocky" and "predatory," but ultimately believes it was a cat. Despite this, he and his girlfriend decided to leave the area for safety reasons, as it was getting dark and they didn't have enough light to properly see their surroundings.
Throughout the video, Ben poses several questions to fellow researchers and enthusiasts about Sasquatch behavior. He wonders if Sasquatches move to higher elevations during hotter months or if they follow food sources, such as berries when they ripen. Ben also ponders how far Sasquatches move around and if they stay in a small area or cover a larger range. He is particularly interested in reports from the Oregon Coast Area, specifically from Corvallis to Tillamook and the Siuslaw National Forest near Lincoln City.
Ben mentions that he has received six or seven reports of Sasquatch sightings in the past year and a half, and believes there may be more out there that people are hesitant to share. He encourages anyone with information to reach out to him, emphasizing that he will keep all reports confidential and only use them for research purposes.
As a curator of Squatchable, I always enjoy coming across videos like this one from Northwest Sasquatch Studies and Research. It's fascinating to hear about other researchers' experiences and thoughts on Sasquatch behavior. If you have any information on Sasquatch sightings in the Oregon Coast Area, particularly in the Siuslaw National Forest, I encourage you to reach out to Ben. And, of course, don't forget to watch the full video for yourself and share your own thoughts and experiences with the Squatchable community.
