In a recent video from the YouTube channel Sasquatch Secrets, hosts Matt and Brent discuss the topic of Sasquatch hotspots and where they would like to investigate. The conversation was sparked by the idea of choosing a location for the upcoming shindig next year, and the desire to focus on areas with high Bigfoot historical significance.
Matt brings up the BFRO reporting system and its reliability, mentioning that the vetting process and number of reports may not accurately represent the number of sightings in a given area. He notes that many people may choose not to report sightings due to fear of harassment or shame. Despite this, Matt stresses the importance of researching an area before investigating, including checking previous encounter reports and the weather.
The BFRO's top five states for reports are Washington, California, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois. Washington leads the pack with 711 reports, followed by California with 461 and Florida with 339. Matt mentions that he is surprised by Florida's high ranking.
Matt takes a closer look at the reports in Washington and finds that Pierce County has the most with 83. He encourages viewers to check out the BFRO website and explore the reports in their own state.
Brent shares his own hotspot, a location in Oregon where he has had multiple experiences. He describes seeing three Sasquatches at once and hearing vocalizations.
The hosts also discuss the possibility of Sasquatches using portals or interdimensional travel, bringing up the example of the "Hoola Squatch" in Hawaii.
Overall, the video serves as a reminder to do thorough research before investigating a potential Sasquatch hotspot and to consider the reliability of reporting systems. Matt and Brent's discussion also highlights the importance of sharing and documenting experiences in order to better understand the presence of Sasquatches.
