"As soon as I made eye contact with it, within two seconds, I shot three times through the wall," the speaker recounts. The group then heard a loud noise, and the whole place shifted. The speaker's elder sat on the bunk, while the younger cousin remained under the table, still gripping the gun. The speaker, still holding the shotgun, sat for hours under the lamp, pumping it every once in a while. "I resigned myself that I was going to die," the speaker recounts. "I just knew that there was no other side to this. It was gonna somehow they were gonna get us."
