A chilling encounter with a Sasquatch family near Crow Creek in Illinois was shared on the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel. The video features an interview with Mike, who recounts his experience from 1977 when he was just 11 years old.
Mike and his friend were riding their bikes near a bridge that crossed Crow Creek. On one side of the bridge was an abandoned oil refinery pumping station, and on the other side was the creek. As they rode their bikes, something caught their attention near the water. Two bipedal creatures were splashing in the creek, one significantly taller than the other.
The taller creature was about eight and a half feet tall and chestnut brown, while the smaller one was around five and a half feet tall and blondish in color. They appeared to be washing themselves or trying to catch fish in the creek. Mike and his friend watched the creatures for a couple of minutes before his friend suddenly screamed and took off on her bike. Mike stared at the creatures for a few more minutes before deciding to follow his friend.
Mike's father, his friend's father, and his uncle returned to the scene to investigate. They found four-toed or possibly five-toed tracks in the mud near the creek and noticed a musty, earthy smell in the area. The creatures left a strong impression on Mike, who still remembers the details of their faces. He described the larger creature as having a thicker brow, a flatter nose, and a pronounced bottom jaw.
The encounter near Crow Creek in Illinois is a fascinating story, and the Bigfoot Society podcast does an excellent job of sharing these experiences with the world. If you're interested in learning more about Sasquatch encounters, be sure to check out their YouTube channel and give them a follow.
