Combat Engineer's Encounter with Three Bigfoot Sparks Lifelong Research

Recently, I came across an interesting video on YouTube from the channel of David Emmons. The video, titled "Researcher finds exciting new information about Bigfoot," features an interview with Todd M. Nice, a Bigfoot witness and a researcher who has been investigating the elusive creature for over 29 years. Todd, a native of the Pacific Northwest, grew up hearing stories about Bigfoot or Sasquatch, as they are alternately known. However, it wasn't until he had a face-to-face encounter with three of these creatures in the temperate rainforest of Oregon's Coast while conducting high explosives training that he became deeply involved in the research. In the video, Todd shares his initial encounter with Bigfoot, which occurred on April 3, 1993. He was a combat engineer at the time, and his unit was tasked with getting access to private timber company holdings in Placer County, a very extreme Northwest for the state of Oregon. They were offered three gravel quarries on the property for training scenarios, one of which involved a cratering charge to blow a road in half. As they were waiting for the explosion, Todd, who was a passenger in the second vehicle, noticed three jet-black figures standing upright in the middle of the ravine. At first, he thought they were people, but upon closer inspection, he realized that they were not human. The creatures had long legs, broad shoulders, and were covered in hair. Two of them were rocking side to side, and when they did, their long arms swung below their waists. Todd lost sight of the creatures after about 25 seconds, but he was left with an epiphany. He had always been a non-believer, but his encounter with Bigfoot changed his perspective.
