Maine Resident's 2000 Encounter: A Clear Sasquatch Sighting

The video's description reads: "My Bigfoot sightings happened in Maine. My name is Matthew Maxey. In January of 2000, I was on my way back from Tennessee to Maine with a friend. We were driving down a straightaway when I noticed something strange." Matthew Maxey, the witness, describes his sighting as follows: "As we were rounding a bend, I noticed that there was a lot of snow falling off the branches of the trees to our far right, about 150 yards away. At first, I didn't think much of it, but then I saw something start to come out from the tree line. I thought it was a moose, so I nudged my buddy Andy and pointed it out to him. But as we got closer, we realized that it wasn't a moose - it was a Sasquatch." Maxey goes on to describe the creature in detail: "It was massive, at least 9 feet tall and 900 to 1000 pounds. It had long hair on its arms and legs, and its muscles were ripped like a professional bodybuilder's. Its legs were as thick as telephone poles, and it moved with incredible speed and grace for its size." As the Sasquatch approached the vehicle, Maxey and his friend were filled with fear. Maxey states, "It gave us this look, like it was daring us to do something. I didn't plan on doing anything, though. I was too scared. The creature then turned and walked back into the woods, disappearing from sight." Maxey's sighting is a chilling reminder of the power and presence of Sasquatch.
