In a recent video from the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel, host Jeremiah Byron revisits episode one of his podcast and interviews Jay Bachochin, a Bigfoot researcher from the Kettle Moraine area of Wisconsin.
In the video, Jay shares his lifelong fascination with the weird and bizarre, which began with his love for creature features and Godzilla movies as a child. But it wasn't until a UFO encounter in 1977 that truly sparked his interest in the unknown. This experience, combined with his grandfather's search for the truth, inspired Jay to form the Wisconsin Paranormal Investigators with his wife.
Jay's Bigfoot journey began when he and his team heard strange vocals while investigating in the Kettle Moraine. Despite his initial skepticism, the sound stuck with him, and he found himself unable to find a match among indigenous Wisconsin animals. It wasn't until someone suggested Bigfoot that Jay began to consider the possibility of its existence.
Although he had previously dismissed Bigfoot as a myth, Jay's curiosity was piqued. He eventually watched Finding Bigfoot and was impressed by the evidence presented. This led him to create his own documentary, "Finding Jay," which explores his personal Bigfoot journey and the Kettle Moraine area.
The Kettle Moraine, a 150-mile stretch of dense woods and glacial valleys, is a perfect location for Bigfoot sightings. Jay's documentary, "Finding Jay," showcases the beauty of the area and the challenges of navigating its vast landscape.
