GIS Answers, a YouTube channel dedicated to exploring various geographic information systems (GIS), recently shared a video that focuses on Bigfoot sightings and strange occurrences in Sam Houston National Park in Texas. The video highlights several accounts of possible Bigfoot encounters and vocalizations within the park, as well as sharing audio recordings of mysterious sounds known as the "Sierra Sounds." The video begins by examining the Sam Houston National Park and its surrounding areas, overlaying the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization) sighting database on the map. The green triangles represent reported Bigfoot sightings, with red dots indicating those specifically within the park. Some of these accounts include: * April 2006: A witness named Prince reported a sighting along the Lone Star hiking trail. * October 2004: A hunter heard strange chattering and discovered tracks in the park. * September 2001: A pre-dawn sighting occurred on the north side of FM 1375, just east of the bridge over Lake Conroe. * July 1975: A dark, human-like figure was observed while rowing a boat across a lake in Huntsville Park. * May 2005: Wood Knocks and strange chatter were heard in the Sam Houston National Park. * August 1996: A police officer on an ATV reported a sighting while riding through the park. The video also shares audio recordings known as the "Sierra Sounds," which were recorded in California by Ron Morehead in 1971. These recordings include wood knocks, whoops, and what is referred to as "samurai chatter." Although the video does not provide the original Sierra Sounds video, it offers a compilation of these mysterious sounds for viewers to analyze. While watching this intriguing video, I couldn't help but be captivated by the number of reported sightings and strange occurrences in Sam Houston National Park. If you're interested in learning more about these accounts and listening to the Sierra Sounds, I encourage you to check out the GIS Answers video on YouTube. And, as always, if you have any Bigfoot-related stories or experiences to share, feel free to submit them to Squatchable for others to enjoy. Happy squatching!
