Tonight's Squatchable Halloween Countdown: If you can’t wake up from your nightmare, maybe you’re not asleep – sleeping people attacked Movie: Paranormal Activity (Rated R) Sheet stealing progresses to full on possession, this movie still spooks me! Stream it on Hulu In general, most people crawl into bed, sleep, wake up and go about their day, hopefully rested and ready to start their day. Some people though aren’t so lucky. Insomnia, illness and countless other health or mental issues can keep a person up all night. Tonight’s stories aren’t about those people, it is about people who have been attacked in their sleep and found themselves waking up to a true nightmare. We aren’t talking about simple sleep paralysis here, these stories are about attacks that left behind things that indicated something more happened to these people. Sleep paralysis is a real phenomenon and it does come with hallucinations sometimes because you are in a weird state of awake/dreaming. If you have a nightmare of a ghost sitting on your chest but find when you snap awake, it’s gone, you may have experienced sleep paralysis. Take a look at this quick video about sleep paralysis:

That is some of the details of the Linda Napolitano (Cortile) story, one of those few alien abduction stories that claims to have witnesses:
Or maybe you thought it was wise to sleep out in the woods after shooting at a big hairy man-like creature. Watch this great video about the Ape Canyon Ambush:
And if Bigfoot grabs me in my tent, that is definitely an attack! Listen to this guys story:
Maybe you had a bout of sleep paralysis, maybe it was a vivid dream, but maybe it’s something more. I hope that for your sake you don’t have a moment where you find out that what you thought was a nightmare is actually your new reality. Now go get a good nights sleep!
