Jefferson County Bigfoot Expo: Researcher Mike's Sasquatch Insights

Bigfoot sightings are more common than you might think, and if you're in the right place at the right time, you just might have your own encounter. According to the YouTube channel Raptor PA, Pennsylvania ranks 12th in the country for reported Bigfoot sightings, with a 2.2% chance of spotting a Sasquatch in the state's forests. In a video titled "A Day of All Things Paranormal | Day Trippin'" the channel takes us to the Jefferson County Bigfoot and Paranormal Expo in Reynoldsville, PA. The Expo is a celebration of all things paranormal, from ghosts to aliens to cryptids like Bigfoot. The festival features speakers, vendors, and of course, food. One of the speakers at the Expo is Mike, a Bigfoot researcher who has been studying Sasquatch for over 11 years. Mike believes that Bigfoot is a biological creature, and he's currently touring the country with his Library tour and tracking down Bigfoot at the same time. He's also the creator and host of the show "The Shadow of the Big Red Eye," which is currently filming its seventh season. Mike starts off his presentation by stating his belief that Bigfoot is a biological creature, and he explains that some people think that they're related to aliens or that they're inter-dimensional. However, Mike thinks that for the simplicity of his program, Bigfoot is a biological creature, just like a skunk or a chicken. Mike goes on to share his own Bigfoot encounter, which happened in 2011. He was watching "Finding Bigfoot" on TV and decided to sign up for an expedition to North Florida to look for Bigfoot. Although nothing happened during the first three nights of the expedition, on the last night, Mike and his friend Jimmy heard tree knocks and rocks being thrown in their direction. Mike was initially scared and ran to his car, but Jimmy convinced him to stay and throw a rock back. After doing so, a laptop-sized boulder came crashing down near them, confirming Mike's belief that they were in the presence of a Sasquatch. The video also features a glimpse of the Bigfoot Mobile Command Center, a 2015 Subaru Outback that Mike has converted into a sleeping platform for his travels.
