Have you ever had an encounter with a Sasquatch or any other cryptid? If not, you're not alone. Many people have had close encounters with these elusive creatures, but haven't been able to make a definitive identification. In this article, we'll be discussing a video from the YouTube channel Linda Eastburn, where the witness, Todd Prescott, shares his own encounter with a possible Sasquatch on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Todd Prescott has been interested in Sasquatch and other cryptids since he was a child. He grew up in the 70s, a time when libraries had extensive collections of mystery books, including those about Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, UFOs, and other unexplained phenomena. His interest in Sasquatch was sparked during his library visits, and he's been hooked ever since. During a Sasquatch expedition in 2000 or 2005, Todd and his partner were walking on a forest service road in the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. As they were surrounded by 10-foot-tall blackberry brambles, Todd caught something out of the corner of his eye. He saw something tall moving through the brambles as if it was swimming through seaweed. The creature was so tall that it was at ground level, even though the forest service road was elevated by about a foot. Todd didn't see enough of the creature to make a definitive identification, but he did notice that it was definitely tall and had a tuft of hair. Todd also shared another cryptid encounter he had back in 1993. He was driving home from a gig with his girlfriend and her friend when they saw something strange on the side of the road. At first, Todd thought it was a deer, but as they got closer, they realized it was a kangaroo-like creature. Todd slowed down and came to a complete stop, and the creature just turned around and walked away. Todd and his passengers were left wondering what they had just seen. According to Todd, there are no kangaroo farms in Ontario, where he lives, and the creature he saw had all the characteristics of a kangaroo. He later learned about the Phantom kangaroo, a cryptid that has been reported in parts of North America, including Ontario. The Phantom kangaroo is called by that name because it's not supposed to be there. There have been reports of Phantom tigers and Phantom lions as well. Todd also mentioned a photo taken in Wisconsin in 1977, which shows a creature resembling a kangaroo but not quite either. Some people believe it could be a relic population of kangaroos hidden in North America. Todd also shared his theory about the Jackalope, a creature that is considered a joke but has been reported by many people. Todd believes that the Jackalope could be a cross between a rabbit and a deer, or a relic population of Phantom kangaroos. In conclusion, many people have had close encounters with Sasquatch and other cryptids, but haven't been able to make a definitive identification. Todd Prescott's encounter with a possible Sasquatch on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia is just one of many such stories. The Phantom kangaroo and the Jackalope are other examples of cryptids that have been reported in North America.
