Recently, I came across an intriguing video on YouTube from the channel Salish Sasquatch titled "New Bigfoot Documentary 2023 | The Cascades Encounter." The video shares the account of a group of friends who had a fascinating experience with what they believe to be a Sasquatch in the Washington Cascades in August 2020. In the video, the individuals describe hearing various sounds, including loops, knocks, and distant vocalizations. One of the most remarkable moments of their encounter was a crystal-clear whoop that Jonathan Brown and another friend heard while standing next to their campfire. They mention that the soil around a freshly blown-down tree was still moist, indicating that it had just come down. The next morning, the group ventured out to find the tree that had been pushed over and discovered a path of freshly smashed ferns, making it clear that this was the tree they had heard being pushed over the night before. Another part of the video features Kirk and Kip Morrell, who were doing some night operations a few miles away. They decided to check on their friends at a different camp and were met with a frantic response on the radio, warning them to stay away because of the intense activity happening in the camp, including trees being pushed over. Kirk and Kip decided to walk along a logging road towards another camp to see if they could get any activity from Sasquatches further out on the perimeter. While walking, they heard a vocalization coming from the direction of their friends' camp. Kip, who was looking through his thermal, didn't see anything, but Kirk, who was recording audio, captured the sound. The group also mentions that they believe Sasquatches watched them park and may have been around the whole time, choosing not to make themselves known until later in the night. This video is a captivating account of a group of friends' encounter with a Sasquatch in the Washington Cascades. I highly recommend watching the video for a more immersive experience and to hear the audio recordings and witness the enthusiasm of those involved in the encounter.
