A recent video posted on the YouTube channel Codex Rigas discusses the topic of the Sasquatch genocide and why it was allegedly justified. The video argues that Sasquatch, also known as Nephilim, are neo-giants with fallen angel blood, and therefore deserve to be eradicated due to their rejection of God and salvation. The video goes on to discuss the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) and its role in the fur trade and subsequent eradication of Bigfoot in Rupert's land, what would become Canada. The HBC was granted a charter over Rupert's land, an ostensibly sovereign territory centered on the Hudson's Bay and its surrounding watersheds, which at its largest extent amounted to 15% of North America's land mass. The company had standing armies, forts, and corridors of travel, and its purpose was fur. The video argues that the HBC's first governor, Prince Rupert of the Rhine, a staunch Calvinist and former General, would have been aware of the existence of Nephilim and the need to eradicate them. The video claims that the systematic genocide of the Sasquatch began in the late 1600s shortly after the formation of the Hudson's Bay Company and continued through the 1700s, 1800s, and even into the 1900s. However, today in the 21st century, there are so few Sasquatch left alive that the HPC has disbanded its Bigfoot hunting operations. The video includes a photo from 1894 near Lillouette BC of two hunters working in the Yalakam river area who shot a creature suspected to be a juvenile Sasquatch and sold it to employees of the Hudson's Bay Company. The Yalakam river is a tributary of the Fraser River which is home to the most frequent incredible Bigfoot sightings in the world in the modern period. The video argues that the HBC's expansion along the countless waterways under its control and consequently contracted more and more trappers, changed the dynamic between humans and Sasquatch. The Sasquatch, being opportunistic man-eaters, began following trap lines and feeding on the valuable fur-bearing animals caught in the lines as well as on the trappers themselves, threatening not only the HBC's profits but also their employees. The video concludes that the HPC likely committed a centuries-long genocide against Sasquatch but this was completely and entirely justified. The video argues that the HBC were simply paying bounties on Bigfoot pelts as a means of assuaging the fears of their trappers and surveyors who were being hunted by these man-eating Abominations, but the secret ulterior motive of this fur trading Corporation was to wage a holy crusade against these demons. It is important to note that this is the perspective and opinion of the YouTube channel Codex Rigas and not of Squatchable.
