A few years back, a video was posted on the YouTube channel "Horror Den Of Ghouls" titled "He FINALLY REVEALED Himself" that caught my attention as a paranormal reporter. The video features a firsthand account of an experience that a man and his friend had in August 2010, while on a business trip in Ravenswood, West Virginia. The two had traveled from Columbus, Ohio to Ravenswood, West Virginia and decided to make a side trip to Gallipolis, Ohio to visit the man's relatives. After their visit, they drove a few miles north on Route 7 to check into a hotel near the local airport. Around 7:30 PM, they decided to get dinner and found a quiet restaurant so they could eat and work. After finishing their meal, Kira, the man's friend, needed to go to the store to pick up a few items that she forgot to pack. As they were walking to the car in the Walmart parking lot, the man noticed a woman running through the parking lot. When she reached her car, she looked back in the direction of the store. The man quickly looked in the same direction and saw what looked like a large bird flying above the roof of the store. It was difficult to see, but when it swooped downward, the parking lot lights would shine off of it. It looked like it had either oily or shiny leather-like skin, with a wide wingspan of eight to ten feet across. It circled above the store for about a minute before disappearing. Both the man and Kira were shocked at what they had witnessed but figured it was just a huge bird. They drove back to the hotel and called it a night. The man got ready for bed and turned on the television. He must have dozed off quickly because the next thing he remembered was frantic knocking on his door. It was Kira, and she was obviously upset. Kira had been laying on the bed reading when she heard scratching sounds in the hallway. She got out of bed, walked to the door, and listened. The sound stopped, so she went back to bed. Not long after, she heard more scratching sounds, but this time from outside her window. She peeked through the curtains and saw what she described as a bald, ugly man with wings, looking directly at her with large bulging eyes that lit up bright red. The creature was outside her window, on the second floor, in the back section of the hotel, looking out onto a small parking lot and a large field beyond. The creature spread its wings and ran at the same time towards the end of the parking lot before lifting off the ground like a bird. The man was skeptical at first, but Kira was adamant that she had seen something supernatural. The two checked out of the hotel early the next morning and drove back to Columbus. Kira didn't mention the incident from the previous night during the ride, and she has still never said anything else about it. The man was curious about what they had witnessed and started researching supernatural creatures in the area. He came across the Mothman, a creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia in the 1960s. The Mothman is described as a large, winged creature with red eyes. The man couldn't help but wonder if what they had witnessed was a Mothman. The man also mentioned that Kira has had some bad luck and tragedy since that day. Her husband suddenly left her, she had a fire in her house, and she severely injured her leg in a fall. The man admits that these events have been strange times since they witnessed the creature. As a paranormal reporter, I find this account fascinating. The man's detailed description of the creature and the events that took place that night are intriguing. While I can't say for certain if what they witnessed was a Mothman, the similarities between the creature they saw and the descriptions of the Mothman are striking. I encourage our readers to watch the video and share their thoughts on what the man and Kira witnessed that night. As a website for Bigfoot enthusiasts, witnesses, and researchers, we are always open to new ideas and theories about the paranormal. Whether you believe in the Mothman or not, this account is a reminder that there are still many mysteries in our world that have yet to be explained.
