Movie – A kid friendly option today, Brave by Disney. Moral of the story, don’t follow will o’ the wisps to a witches hut and expect a perfect spell.

Strange lights have been described in folklore all over the world. In the UK the will o’ wisp will lead you astray. In the forests of North America people say it is the eye shine of Bigfoot. Sometimes aliens or ghosts are said to be the source. Skeptics say they are just manifestations of atmospheric anomalies. Whichever explantion you ascribe to doesn’t change the fact that these lights do appear. Let’s take a look at a few interesting light source theories:
Most times strange lights are just described as being observed without any supernatural experiences to go along with them. This video is from a guy who decided camp alone in the forest and he recorded a good light show:

And aliens is probably right there in second place. Take a look at this video about the “British Roswell”, the Rendlesham Forest:
But here on Squatchable, we usually hear about them being associated with Bigfoot. Listen to this interview on the Sasquatch Chronicles where the witness describes the strange lights they encountered in the woods:
Regardless of where it occurs, strange lights are a beautiful curiosity. If you see a light, what is known is that you are viewing a manifestation of energy. I’ll leave it up to you though to figure out what the source of that energy is.
