Recently, I stumbled upon a fascinating video on YouTube from the channel Michael and Jenny. In the video, they visit Armco Park in Ashland, Kentucky, to check out a Sasquatch carving by local artist Travis Williams.
As they explore the park, they highlight several points of interest, including a World War I, II, Korea, and Vietnam War memorial, an army tank, and a historic iron ore hiking trail. The park seems to be a peaceful and historical place, perfect for outdoor activities and reflection.
Upon reaching the Sasquatch carving, Michael and Jenny are clearly impressed by the level of detail and craftsmanship. The carving, named Boyd's Sasquatch, stands tall with a squirrel in its hand, and the foot of the Sasquatch is particularly striking. The back of the foot rises off the tree stump, and the hands show incredible detail.
Travis Williams, the artist, is present during their visit and shares that he's working on a baby Bigfoot carving nearby. He explains that the Sasquatch will come to life with paint and detail over the next few days.
Michael and Jenny are clearly in awe of the carving, comparing it to the movie "Harry and the Hendersons." They praise Travis's talent and express their hope that the Sasquatch carving remains at the park for years to come.
The video is a delightful glimpse into the world of Sasquatch enthusiasts and the artistic representation of these elusive creatures. If you're interested in learning more, I encourage you to watch the video and explore the beautiful Armco Park and its Sasquatch carving.
