In a recent video from the YouTube channel Squatch-D TV, host Steve Krause and co-host Chris Bennett sit down to discuss the current state of the Bigfoot community and how it can be improved. The video, titled "Taking Back The Bigfoot Community STEP 1 [Squatch-D TV Ep. 132]" features a phone interview with Steve K's private investigator and executive director of squatchdetective.com.
During the interview, the investigator shares a sighting story in which he and a friend encountered a large, black creature while driving at night. The creature was standing near the tree line and reminded the witness of a gorilla. The sighting left a lasting impression on the witness and he still thinks about it to this day.
Steve and Chris go on to discuss the importance of respect and community within the Bigfoot community. They mention that the community is often divided and fractured, but it is important to come together and support each other, regardless of differing beliefs. They also mention the recent passing of Larry Batson, a well-known animal educator and Bigfoot researcher, and send their condolences to his family and friends.
Towards the end of the video, Steve brings up the recent news of Joe Snider, a fellow Bigfoot researcher and co-host of The Relic Roundtable and Inquiry podcast, who has been diagnosed with liver cancer and has been given only a few months to live. Steve and Chris express their love and support for Joe and his wife Molly, and encourage their viewers to donate to a GoFundMe page set up to help with Joe's medical expenses.
Overall, the video serves as a reminder of the importance of community and support within the Bigfoot community, as well as a tribute to those who have passed and those who are currently facing difficult times.
