The Canam Missing Project YouTube channel recently posted a video titled "Missing 411 David Paulides Reviews The Alaska Bigfoot Cruise." In the video, Paulides shares his experiences on the cruise, which was organized by Nikki and Marty from Gather Up Events.
Paulides and Dr. Jeff Meldrum, two well-known figures in the Bigfoot community with differing views, were among the main speakers on the ship. Despite their disagreements, Paulides speaks highly of Meldrum and acknowledges his contributions to the field.
During the cruise, attendees had the opportunity to go on excursions with the speakers. Paulides chose to visit Icy Strait and Big Creek in Huna, Alaska, where salmon were running. He notes that some viewers of his video may have mistakenly thought that the dead fish in the river were "zombie fish," but assures them that this is a natural part of the salmon's life cycle.
The cruise also included a town hall meeting in Juneau, where Rob Allen, an expert on Alaska Bigfoot, gave a presentation. Paulides, Meldrum, Allen, and Thomas, a Native American speaker, then participated in a Q&A session.
Paulides mentions that Meldrum seemed unwell during the Q&A and later found out that he had to be taken off the ship due to a medical emergency. The ship turned around and headed back to Ketchikan, where Meldrum was evaluated and then flown to Seattle for further treatment. Paulides asks for prayers for Meldrum's recovery and notes that despite their differing views, he respects Meldrum's accomplishments.
The cruise was originally supposed to stop at Victoria Island, but due to a law known as The Jones Act, the ship had to dock in Victoria for only 10 minutes before continuing on to Seattle. Paulides notes that he did not meet anyone on the ship who had a bad experience and highly recommends the cruise to other Bigfoot enthusiasts.
Overall, the video provides a unique behind-the-scenes look at a Bigfoot-themed cruise and highlights the sense of community within the Bigfoot community. It also serves as a reminder to respect and support one another, even when opinions differ.
