California Campers' Chilling Encounter with Sasquatch in 1980, 1977

Squatchable is excited to share with you eight chilling accounts of Bigfoot encounters from the past, as reported by the YouTube channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning. These stories are sure to send shivers down your spine and leave you questioning the mysteries of the wilderness. The first story takes us to Sonoma County, California in July 1980. A couple on a bicycle touring trip from Portland, Oregon to Santa Barbara, California had a terrifying experience while camping at Fort Ross Historical Park. At approximately 1am, they heard a blood-curdling scream that lasted for nine seconds, coming from a mere 20 feet away. The scream was so loud and powerful that it frightened the couple to their core. Despite hearing the tremor in the throat of the creature and realizing the force it would take to make such a sound, they were told it was probably just a bear or a mountain lion. However, the couple remains unconvinced. The second story brings us to Tehama County, California in the summer of 1977. A grandfather, uncle, and nephew were camping in the Mount Lassen National Forest, picking up sugar pine and digger pine cones for about three days. One particular night, they heard a loud growl scream noise that sounded like it came from a large animal. The noise was so loud and startling that a group of people camped above them fled in fear. The men were left shaken and confused, wondering what kind of creature could make such a sound. The third story takes us to Weaverville, Trinity County, California in the winter of 1994. A young grocery clerk and his girlfriend had a close encounter with a light-colored Bigfoot while parked on Big Bar dump Road. The creature was so close that the young man could hear its heavy breathing and see its dark towering image. The couple was left terrified, with the young man still feeling the effects of the encounter to this day. The fourth story comes from Canada in June 1996. The chief editor of Animal Watch, Alex Michael, wrote of her own encounter with Sasquatch in volume number one, issue number 10. Michael's account is one of the most chilling and educational stories of a Bigfoot encounter that she has ever read. These are just four of the eight stories shared by BIGFOOT! / William Jevning.
