In a recent video from the YouTube channel Squatch Talks Podcast, hosts Art and Eric take us on a nighttime expedition in the Pine Barrens in search of Sasquatch activity and other high strangeness.
The duo is trying something new by using a light ring to make themselves visible in the dark forest, rather than their usual night vision cameras. They're also taking advantage of the new moon to capture some star vision photography with their GoPro.
Throughout the video, Art and Eric share their experiences and encounters with Sasquatch, including a memorable night where they heard what sounded like a lone wolf or a coyote-wolf hybrid just 50 yards away. They also discuss the importance of elevation in encouraging Sasquatch to check them out, as they have a height advantage on all three sides of their location.
During their hike, Art and Eric use red LEDs to navigate the pitch-black forest and try to elicit a response from any Sasquatch in the area. They also demonstrate knock provocations and use a geo marker to get the attention of any nearby creatures.
As they hike, Art shares his belief that some of the pinpoint white lights they've seen in the forest could be Sasquatch eye shine, possibly from interdimensional beings.
Throughout the video, Art and Eric use digital audio recorders, a stick mic, and the H2N on top of their truck to capture any vocalizations or knocks. They also discuss the challenges of dealing with insect noise, which can sometimes hinder their ability to record.
Towards the end of the video, Art and Eric try a series of three vocalizations, hoping to capture any responses on audio. They hear some coyotes in the distance, but ultimately, their expedition doesn't yield any Sasquatch sightings or encounters.
Overall, the video from Squatch Talks Podcast is an interesting and engaging look into the world of Sasquatch research and exploration. Art and Eric's passion for the subject is clear, and their experiences and insights make for a compelling watch. Be sure to check out the full video on their YouTube channel and see for yourself what they encounter on their nighttime expedition.
