In a recent video from the YouTube channel D.A. Ex Machina Podcast, cryptid investigator and documentary filmmaker Greg Ogles shares his fascinating journey into the world of Bigfoot research. As a trained investigator in traffic engineering, Greg brings a unique perspective and set of skills to the field of Bigfoot studies. Greg's interest in the paranormal and Bigfoot led him to apply his investigative expertise to the search for evidence of these elusive creatures. He emphasizes the importance of credible documentation and the need to separate entertainment from solid evidence in order to bring legitimacy to the field. During his early investigations, Greg and his team encountered remarkable evidence, including footprints measuring 16 inches long and 7 inches wide, with a stride of 8.5 to 9 feet between them. They also found what appeared to be a giant bird's nest and fingerprints on a bat house pole, approximately 7.5 to 8 feet off the ground. However, Greg admits that their initial presentation of the evidence was less than ideal, and they've since learned the difference between forensic documentation and entertainment-focused documentation. Despite discarding some of their early evidence, they continued to gather a wealth of physical evidence throughout their journey. One particular experience in Alabama during the making of a documentary changed Greg's perspective on Bigfoot research. While tromping through the woods, he spotted red lights that he initially thought were from a nearby vehicle. Upon further investigation, he realized that the lights were still in the middle of the woods, leaving him puzzled and intrigued. Greg clarified that he does not support killing Bigfoot and believes that the creatures have managed to survive without human intervention. He has evolved from trying to prove Bigfoot's existence to simply presenting his team's encounters and allowing viewers to form their own opinions. Ex Machina Podcast YouTube channel, and it's definitely worth a watch for anyone interested in Bigfoot research and cryptid investigations.
