A Strange Encounter in Tennessee I recently came across a video from the YouTube channel, Ontario Cryptids, that caught my attention. In the video, the channel owner shares three encounter stories, and I was particularly intrigued by the second and third stories, which took place in McNary County, Tennessee. The first encounter occurred in the summer of 2002, when three friends went on a four-wheeler trail in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee. They made a fire and were making hot dogs and brats when they heard a smallish tree fall about 100 to 150 yards away. They didn't think much of it and continued joking around. However, a few minutes later, they heard a branch snap, followed by what sounded like a huge bear on its haunches. As they shone a spotlight on the creature, they saw a hand, not a paw, and realized that it was not a bear. The creature then ran up the hill, and they saw another flash of eye shine up the right side of the hill. The second encounter took place near where the first encounter occurred, and it was experienced by a woman who saw a creature that she believed to be one of these things. Her husband later provided a more detailed account of the encounter, and his wife had even drawn a picture of the creature. What struck me about these stories was the similarity between the creature described and the commonly reported descriptions of Bigfoot or Sasquatch. The creature was described as having a huge shoulder size, moving quickly, and having a distinctive smell. The witnesses also mentioned that the creature had a human-like gait and that its fur was matted and dirty. While some people may be skeptical of these stories, it's important to remember that there have been countless reports of Bigfoot or Sasquatch sightings over the years. Many of these reports come from credible witnesses who have no reason to fabricate their stories. If you're interested in learning more about these encounters, I encourage you to watch the Ontario Cryptids video and do your own research. Who knows, you may even have your own Bigfoot encounter someday. Note: The above article is based on a video from the Ontario Cryptids YouTube channel.
