In 1970, a doctor and his family in Los Angeles County, California, had a series of encounters with a family of Sasquatch-like creatures after the Laguna Wildfire. The creatures, described as heavily built, upright, dark-colored, and ape-like, were seen in the orchard of the doctor's property, which had been stripped of apples to a height beyond a man's reach. The doctor found strange four-toed footprints near the orchard and chicken house, and his neighbors also reported similar occurrences. A nearby rancher showed investigators a strange V-shaped footprint with four toes, and smaller prints were discovered near a reservoir. The investigation was conducted by a police detective and Sasquatch investigator named Ken.
