Hunters' Encounter with a Gigantic, Rock-Throwing Figure in Pacific Creek Valley

In 1983, four hunters had a frightening experience in the Pacific Creek Valley. They were the last ones left in the valley, staying at the Pacific Creek Campground. Jim and Dave decided to pair up and follow a road, while the other two stayed back at camp. In a meadow, they noticed it was quiet, and then a large rock was thrown from the tree line, landing near them. They went to investigate but didn't find anything. As they walked back to camp, something was paralleling them in the forest. Rocks started coming out of the tree line and landing on the trail in front of them. They finally made it back to camp, where they told their friends what happened. That night, they heard a tree come crashing down in the forest, and they decided to pack up and leave, feeling a primal fear that they couldn't explain. Jim returned to the campground once more in 1984 and saw a large, upright figure near his cooler before it ran off into the darkness.
