I have a fascinating report to share with you from Rocky Mountain Sasquatch, a group of Bigfoot researchers who explore the most reported Bigfoot sighting locations in the Rocky Mountains of North America. They recently ventured into a section of Colorado between the Uncompahgre National Forest and the San Juan National Forest to search for Sasquatch. As the video on YouTube shows, the Colorado Rockies are a Bigfoot sighting hot spot due to the area's abundance of high elevation mountains and peaks. In particular, the San Juan mountain range boasts over 28 peaks that are above 9,000 feet and 13 peaks over 14,000 feet. While many researchers and natives believe that Bigfoot like high elevations, they also need to traverse through the valleys to travel and find low elevation resources, mainly food. Consequently, people sometimes spot them in the valleys. One of many Bigfoot sighting reports that attracted Rocky Mountain Sasquatch to this area came from a person who saw one between Nucla and Naturita while driving back to Grand Junction around midnight. The witness, named Jennifer, initially thought that the creature was someone needing help, but it turned out to be a Bigfoot waving its arms and running toward her truck. She panicked, sped around it, and drove away fast for about five miles before stopping to pee outside her truck. She described the Bigfoot's hair as lighter brown, its face as frantic but not human-like, and its body as big, real large, and running toward her fast. Although she still feels kind of bad for not helping, she was scared and surprised by the encounter.
Rocky Mountain Sasquatch appreciated Jennifer's description and asked if she could tell what color it was or estimate its height or width. She provided more details, such as the road being completely dark, the creature looking like us but not human, and her almost peeing her pants. The group shared another encounter from a guy who had to go around a Bigfoot walking in the center of the road in Ogden Canyon, Utah, during a January rainstorm a few years ago at night. He initially thought that it was someone wearing a fur coat in the rainstorm until he got really close and saw that it was a large Bigfoot covered in hair from head to toe. They noted that even though these creatures are rare and elusive, they sometimes have off days and do things you would not expect out of character and lead to some of the scariest encounters. The video also showcases the beautiful scenery of Colorado and the cultural acceptance of Bigfoot and Bigfoot sightings in the state. Most people who have lived in Colorado for quite some time know somebody related to somebody that has had an encounter with the Bigfoot, and a lot of them have had experiences or encounters themselves. Many towns have Bigfoot paraphernalia and museums, making it an amazing place for Bigfoot researchers to explore and learn more about these elusive giants. Finally, Rocky Mountain Sasquatch encouraged anyone who has had a Bigfoot sighting to email them at [email protected], regardless of when it happened. They emphasized that the data is invaluable for gaining insights into the life of the creature, such as their habits, where they live, where they travel, and what they may eat, just by where they are at the time of year or the time of day.
