Rusty, a resident of Alaska, has had his toes dipped into the depths of the paranormal, and he recently shared his experience in a YouTube video that has captured the attention of Bigfoot enthusiasts, witnesses, and researchers.
Rusty's video is a public service announcement that aims to inform outsiders about the reality of living in Alaska. Contrary to popular belief, life in Alaska is not all about living in an outhouse and defending yourself against ravenous bears. Most Alaskans have indoor plumbing and concern themselves with everyday matters, like Wi-Fi and therapist ghosting.
However, Alaskans also share a common unspoken bond with outsiders: paranormal activity. Rusty claims that Alaskans experience UFOs, bigfoots, parallel universes, fairies, witches, mermaids, and other forms of paranormal activity.
Rusty's encounter with Bigfoot is the highlight of his video. He admits to doing something that experts advise against: giving gifts to Bigfoot. Rusty gifted his pasta necklaces, extra buttons, and Famous Amos cookies to Bigfoot, believing that he could showcase his talent and share his special creations with the world.
One morning, Rusty's dog Quig wakes him up and tells him that he needs to go outside and make potty. Rusty accompanies him outside, but Quig won't go. Rusty shines his flashlight around but sees nothing. As soon as he turns the flashlight off and reaches for the door, he hears four loud, concussive tree knocks that make him feel simultaneously sick and paralyzed. Rusty wonders if the knocks were a cry for attention from Bigfoot, who wanted more of his crafts. He feels violated because Bigfoot showed up uninvited.
Rusty also shares a story from a soccer mom who saw a Sasquatch peering into her neighbor's living room window. The Sasquatch calmly walked away when the soccer mom pulled into her driveway. Rusty later found out that both of her neighbors had recently died, and he believes that the Sasquatch was checking up on them.
In the middle of his next story, Rusty changes locations because he wants to film the rest of the story a few weeks later. He advises viewers to get creative with their gifts to Bigfoot and suggests saving the almonds from Almond Joys and leaving them to dry on a paper towel for two to three hours.
