There's a video making the rounds on YouTube that every Squatchable reader needs to check out, and it comes from the Couple of Cryptids channel. Faith, Kelly, and Caswyn Moon took a trip to a place called Aquaterara in Binghamton, New York, and what they found up there has got people talking. For those unfamiliar with the area, Aquatch (or Aquaterara) is the site of a former ski resort that was shut down after a catastrophic accident involving the ski lift. The lift derailed, people died, and the lift carts were apparently just left sitting in the woods. Creepy history aside, the location has become a hotspot for paranormal activity and, according to Caswyn, some pretty wild Bigfoot encounters over the years. The trio headed up the mountain during leaf peeping season to do a daytime investigation, and things got interesting fast. Not even deep into the hike, they came across something that stopped them in their tracks. A tree branch that had been completely ripped off and broken, hanging in a way that looked deliberate. Caswyn pointed it out and asked the obvious question: Bigfoot marking? The way it broke off didn't look natural, and the group seemed genuinely intrigued by the find. Tree breaks and bent branches are classic indicators that researchers often look for when tracking Sasquatch activity. Known as "tree breaks" or "habitat modification," these marks are thought to be left intentionally by Sasquatch as a form of communication or territorial display. The theory is that these intelligent beings use such markings to signal their presence to others of their kind, or even to warn humans away. Finding one in an area with a history of sightings is definitely worth paying attention to. But that wasn't the only thing that got the hairs standing up on this hike. Throughout the climb, the group reported hearing knocking and clicking sounds coming from the trees. Wood knocks are considered one of the most common vocalizations associated with Sasquatch, often described as a rhythmic striking against wood that can carry for miles through dense forest. Researchers have documented these sounds for decades, and many believe they're a form of communication between individuals or family groups. Things got even weirder when Caswyn claimed he saw someone running across the top of a hill in the distance. Whether it was a person, a Sasquatch, or something else entirely, the sighting added another layer of mystery to an already eventful hike. The group joked about being slowed down so they'd be stuck up there after dark, which is never a comforting thought in a place with this kind of history. The Couple of Cryptids crew has built a solid following by exploring haunted and Sasquatch-prone locations, and this video is a great example of why. They balance genuine curiosity with a sense of humor, and they let the evidence speak for itself. The broken branch, the knocks in the woods, and the distant figure all add up to a compelling case for anyone interested in the unknown. Binghamton itself has a long history with Sasquatch sightings. The Southern Tier region of New York has produced numerous reports over the years, with witnesses describing large, hairy figures crossing roads, leaving strange tracks, and making those unmistakable knocking sounds in the deep woods. Areas with old ski resorts and abandoned infrastructure tend to attract Sasquatch activity because they offer dense cover, water sources, and relative isolation from human activity. If you're into Sasquatch research, paranormal history, or just love a good creepy hike video, this one is worth your time. The Couple of Cryptids channel has a knack for finding spots that deliver, and Aquaterara seems to be one of those places that keeps giving. Check out the video and see what you think about that tree break.
