Soldiers Encounter Massive Bigfoot at Remote West Virginia Checkpoint

So I stumbled across this video the other night that I just had to share with anyone who appreciates a good Sasquatch encounter story. It's a first-hand military account set in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, and it has all the hallmarks of a genuine encounter that will leave you thinking about it for days.
The story is told by Sergeant William "Bill" Price, a combat veteran with three tours in Afghanistan behind him. In the winter of 2019, he and a small four-man team were stationed at a remote checkpoint deep in the West Virginia wilderness. Their official orders said they were there for a training exercise with local law enforcement, monitoring drug trafficking routes through the mountains. But what they actually encountered out there was something no training exercise could have prepared them for.
The team was stacked with serious firepower. Bill, Corporal Luis Ramirez (their designated marksman who could thread a needle at 800 yards), Specialist Marcus "Mack" Carter handling the M249 SAW, and Private Ethan Walker, a fresh-faced 20-year-old just out of Fort Benning. They had thermal imaging, night vision, and enough weaponry to stop anything short of an armored vehicle. But as Bill describes it, the forest at night "became something else entirely."
It was on their eighth night that things started getting strange. Bill and Ramirez were on the midnight shift, temperature well below freezing, when Ramirez grabbed his arm and asked if he heard that. What they heard was knocking. Three knocks, then silence, then three more. Deliberate. Rhythmic. Almost like Morse code. And it wasn't coming from one spot. It would sound from one direction, stop, then start up somewhere else, always maintaining that same pattern.
When they checked their thermal imaging, they saw something that made their blood run cold. A heat signature considerably larger than a deer, moving with purpose through the forest parallel to their position. It would appear briefly between trees, then vanish, only to reappear 30 or 40 feet away. Whatever it was, it was big, and it was watching them.
Here's where it gets really interesting from a Sasquatch research perspective. The movement pattern was described as having "almost tactical precision, using the trees for cover." This is consistent with countless reports from witnesses who describe Sasquatch as displaying intelligent, deliberate behavior, almost as if they understand military tactics and concealment. The fact that this creature stayed just at the edge of their effective range, about 150 meters out, suggests an awareness of human weapons and capabilities that goes beyond any known animal behavior.
After about 20 minutes, the heat signature simply vanished. The knocking stopped. The forest returned to normal.
But the next night is when things escalated dramatically. Walker called Bill at around 0300, his voice shaking, saying the knocking was coming from every direction. When Bill arrived, the rhythmic knocking was everywhere, surrounding the checkpoint. Carter was traversing his M249 across the tree line, and Walker was visibly trembling.
The thermal imaging showed multiple signatures, at least a dozen, maybe more, forming a rough circle around their position. But here's the creepy part: they kept appearing and disappearing. Not moving behind cover, but literally vanishing. And their radios were completely dead, even on emergency frequencies.
Then came the smell. A thick, musky odor like wet dog mixed with something rotten. This is another classic indicator in Sasquatch encounters. Witnesses frequently describe a powerful, distinctive odor that hits them when a Sasquatch is nearby,
