14th Annual Greater New England UFO and Bigfoot Conference Set for August 2026

So I just came across this really interesting interview on YouTube that I had to share with everyone. Susan McNeill Spuhler sat down with Willie to chat about something pretty exciting for anyone in the New England area who's into Sasquatch and UFO research. They're gearing up for the 14th annual Greater New England UFO/Bigfoot Conference, and the lineup this year sounds absolutely incredible. The big news? They've got a brand new keynote speaker that I'm personally super curious about. Robert Whitehead, who is American Indian, is going to be presenting on his book "The Legend of Chancipa" — which is described as a Sasquatch origin story. From what I can gather, it explores the legends of Sasquatch interacting with American Indians throughout the ages. That kind of cultural and historical perspective on our beloved hairy friends is something we don't hear enough about, so I'm really looking forward to hearing more about this. Jimmy Pentanito, aka Mr. Haunted, is coming back again too. If you're not familiar with his work, he's written books like "Mr. Haunted Origins: My Head Spinning Journey from Haunted Cemeteries to Assisting with Exorcisms" and now has a new one called "Crypted Chronicles from Crawlers to Giants." The title alone tells you this guy covers a lot of ground in the paranormal world. He's apparently always a hit at these conferences. Then there's Dave McCulla, who is one of the founders of Squatus, a research organization he started with Jonathan Wilks. These guys are always out on expeditions, and Dave is going to be bringing some compelling audio and video evidence of Sasquatch to share. That's the kind of stuff I live for — actual evidence presentations from people who are out in the field doing the work. Susan herself will be speaking too, and she's planning to touch on some disclosure topics. She mentioned she's got UFO photographs that contractors she used to work with shared with her that she hasn't shown publicly in a while. That's definitely worth checking out. And Willie is going to be discussing his dowsing work. He's been doing this for over 30 years — finding missing people, pets, and items. Dowsing is one of those skills that a lot of researchers swear by, especially when it comes to tracking Sasquatch or finding their nesting areas. What really struck me about this interview is the history of this conference. Fourteen years running consistently is no small feat. Over the years, they've hosted some absolute legends in the field — Stanton Friedman, Travis Walton (yes, the Travis Walton from the famous 1975 Fire in the Sky incident), Nick Redfern, Roxy Wicker, and Jim Vieira, who studies giants and is based in Western Massachusetts. If you're not familiar with Jim Vieira's work, he's done some fascinating research into historical accounts of giant humanoids, which ties into the broader Sasquatch and cryptid conversation in really interesting ways. The conference is happening Saturday, August 29th, 2026, in Westford, Massachusetts. And get this — barbecue lunch is included with registration. You can't beat that.
