If you've ever wondered what it would be like to live alongside a family of Sasquatch for years, Neal from Georgia might just have the most compelling story out there. A recent podcast episode dives deep into decades of firsthand encounters on his property, and honestly, some of these accounts are hard to dismiss. Neal runs a site called bigfoottall.com where he documents the activity happening on his land. He's also authored two books, "Understanding Bigfoot: A Guide for Outdoor Enthusiasts" and "Bigfoot in Georgia: The Cohabitation Chronicles, When Bigfoot Let Us Know They Were There." The latter is actually a five-book series, and he's currently working on the second installment. For anyone serious about understanding patterns in the woods, these resources sound like goldmines. What really stands out in this conversation is the detail about his son's sightings. The kid has had four encounters on the property alone, plus one elsewhere. One of the wildest moments happened when he went down to the creek to grab some dirt for planting flowers with his mom. He spotted a young one watching him from across the water near an old hay barn. According to Neal, his son described the creature moving so fast it was like a blur, "just there and then gone." No sound at all. Spooked him enough that he avoids that area unless someone's with him. Then there's the night his son was pulling into the driveway and saw two figures on all fours coming toward him from a steep ditch on the left side of the road. He immediately knew these weren't wild hogs. When he turned around to get a better look, he caught sight of something massive backlit by a neighbor's nightlight. His estimate? Eight feet tall or more, and that was being conservative since it was standing in a depression. Neal's theory about that encounter makes a lot of sense. He believes the family was sneaking up on wild hogs in the adjacent field, with juveniles doing the stalking while a big adult waited nearby. The property apparently served as a nursery site at one point, which would explain the presence of multiple young ones and juveniles. But the most jaw-dropping story involves an expedition his son went on. The group leader spotted a large heat signature behind a five-foot boulder on thermal. Nothing else that size would be out there, certainly not a bear standing upright. The leader asked if anyone wanted to sneak up on it, and Neal's son was the only one who volunteered. They crept within ten yards of the creature and watched it on thermal picking something up to its mouth and putting it back down. The shoulders came up to the top of the boulder, hunched over, putting it at least seven feet tall. Here's the part that gave me chills. The creature turned its back to them. The expedition leader, who had always seen them run before, realized this was unprecedented behavior. With a kill right there and only ten yards between them, he made the smart call to back away slowly. Both of them had thermals and could see it clearly. Neal's son held his composure, and the expedition leader still talks about it as the most incredible experience of his life. Neal's wife has also had her own sightings, both on expeditions and at home. The family clearly has a long history with these beings, and Neal believes his property was chosen as a safe haven. For anyone interested in long-term cohabitation stories or patterns of Sasquatch behavior, this episode is absolutely worth the listen. The level of detail and the consistency of the encounters over years adds serious weight to the idea that these creatures aren't just passing through, they're settling in and raising families.
