If you've ever spent a late night scrolling through YouTube looking for that next hit of creepy content, you know the drill. Sometimes you stumble across something that makes you stop, lean in, and think, "Okay, that's worth talking about." That's exactly what happened when I came across this episode from the Drawn Into The Dark channel. It's a full episode of Monsters Among Us, hosted by Derek Hayes, and it's packed with real paranormal experiences submitted by listeners. And let me tell you, one of the stories in particular is going to raise some eyebrows in the Sasquatch community.
The episode is titled "Grey Aliens, Black Shadows and Pale White Creatures," and it delivers exactly what it promises. Three callers share their experiences, and each one is genuinely unsettling in its own way. But the third story is the one that really caught my attention, and I think it's going to catch yours too.
The first caller shares a story from the early 1980s. They were part of a motorcycle club, and a fellow member had been shot and killed about a month before New Year's Eve. On that night, after the party wound down, the caller was sitting on a couch with their girlfriends who had fallen asleep. Around 3:00 AM, they felt a sudden drop in temperature and saw the deceased friend walk through the clubhouse, smile, wave, and exit through the back door without it ever opening. The temperature returned to normal after he passed through. A chilling account of a possible post-mortem visit from a friend.
The second caller, Nate from West Brookville, New York, shares an experience from when he was about six or seven years old. He used to sleep next to his grandmother's bed when staying at her house. One morning, he looked toward the doorway and saw a pitch-black figure standing there. He pulled the covers over his head for about three minutes, and when he looked again, the figure had moved closer. He was terrified but didn't say anything. His grandmother always claimed her house was haunted by someone she called Charlie, so this sighting fits right into that lore.
Now, the third story. This is the one that matters for anyone interested in bipedal cryptids. Chad from Nova Scotia, Canada, calls in with an experience from about 14 years ago when he was 15 years old. He had three friends over for a sleepover at his parents' ranch-style house. They were sleeping in the living room when, around 2:30 or 3:00 AM, they heard a loud bang on the deck. Then they saw a white object whip by the patio doors, take a corner, and run in front of the living room windows. This thing jumped a clear 10 to 12 feet off the deck onto the covered porch that overlooked his parents' bedroom.
The commotion woke his parents, who yelled down asking what the boys were doing outside. The kids insisted they were all asleep downstairs. Then the object ran by the parents' bedroom window, freaking them out. They ran to the window to look, and the creature had made it across the kitchen. They heard it running across the house. When they looked at the kitchen window, this thing jumped 25 to 30 feet off the roof into the grass without stumbling. It took off on two legs toward the tree line.
Here's where it gets really interesting. As it slowed down near the tree line, Chad got a good look at it, and so did his buddy and his mom. He describes it as a seven to eight foot tall bipedal creature, skinny, with a deep white or grayish color. He didn't see a face, mostly just the back, but he could see what appeared to be bones. It crouched down on all fours and slowly disappeared into the darkness.
Now, this description doesn't match the typical Sasquatch profile that most researchers are familiar with. Sasquatch are usually described as large, muscular, dark-colored creatures covered in hair. But reports of pale, white, or unusual-looking bipedal creatures do pop up from time to time in the literature. Some researchers have theorized about regional variations, unknown species, or even other dimensional beings that might occasionally bleed into our reality. The fact that this creature was bipedal, tall, and moved with incredible agility is what makes it worth paying attention to.
The jumping ability alone is remarkable. A 25 to 30 foot jump off a roof onto grass without stumbling is not something any known animal can do. And the 10 to 12 foot jump off the deck onto the porch suggests a level of physical capability that goes beyond human limits. Whether this was a Sasquatch, a pale creature variant, or something else entirely, it's the kind of sighting that deserves more attention.
The video is worth watching in full because the atmosphere Derek Hayes creates with his show is perfect for late-night listening. He treats every caller with respect and lets the stories speak for themselves. If you're into paranormal content, real experiences, and especially if you're interested in unusual bipedal sightings, this episode is a must-see.
You can find it on the Drawn Into The Dark channel on YouTube. Just search for the episode title or browse their uploads. Trust me, once you hear Chad's story, you're going to be thinking about it for days. And who knows, maybe it will inspire someone to do a little more digging into pale creature sightings in the Nova Scotia area. There's always more to learn, and stories like this remind us that the unknown is still very much out there.
