A recent episode from the YouTube channel My Bigfoot Sighting features a witness from Davis County, Kentucky sharing multiple encounters that span over two decades. The interview is packed with details that will resonate with anyone familiar with Sasquatch behavior and the kinds of terrain these creatures tend to favor. The witness describes his uncle's property in western Kentucky, right near the Ohio River bottoms. The area has everything a Sasquatch could want - tall hills, deep ravines, dense woods, and plenty of game. It's the kind of landscape that researchers often point to when discussing ideal habitat, and the Ohio River Valley has a long history of sightings going back generations. The first encounter happened around 2002 while the witness was helping his uncle clear a tree line. He was sitting on a tractor with the engine off, watching his uncle work a bulldozer at full blast. That's when he heard a roar so loud it cut right through the noise of the machinery. The hair stood up on the back of his neck. When he turned to look, he saw deer, rabbits, and raccoons fleeing from the direction of an old abandoned barn at the mouth of a ravine. Then he saw it. Something leaning out of the barn doorway, looking right at him. It had its arm wrapped around the beam at the top of the door opening. The witness watched it for 15 to 20 minutes as it leaned out to get a better look, then ducked back in. Eventually it left. A few days later, he went back to check the barn. He's 6'3" and on his tiptoes could barely touch the beam across the doorway. That puts the creature at 8 to 8.5 feet tall at minimum, which lines up with the size range reported in Sasquatch encounters across the country. The second major encounter came around 2007. The witness and a friend were digging through shale piles on the upper parts of the property, looking for fossils. They were tossing pieces of slate over the edge into a ravine when the rocks started coming back. Rock throwing is one of the most commonly reported activities associated with Sasquatch, and it comes up again and again in witness accounts from all over North America. They decided to leave. As they walked the 200 to 300 yards back to the truck along a gravel road, they heard footsteps in the ditch next to them. Something was pacing them. They would stop, it would stop. They would take a few steps, it would take a few steps. When they got about 50 yards from the truck, they ran. The witness jumped in, found his keys (he'd been sitting on them), got the engine started, and flipped on the high beams since it was getting dark. That's when the creature came out of the ditch, ran straight across in front of the truck, and took off up a steep hillside faster than anything the witness had ever seen move. He describes it as shaggy but clean, with a grayish tint, and muscular - built like nothing else. There's also a story about a tree fort the witness and his cousin built
