Title: A Fascinating Chat with Lauren Smith from Night Callers Bigfoot Radio on Cryptid Wilderness Research Podcast Excitement Level: 7 Hey Squatchable readers! We've got an amazing podcast episode to share with you today from the Cryptid Wilderness Research team. In this episode, they chat with Lauren Smith, the host of Night Callers Bigfoot Radio, about her journey into the world of cryptids and Bigfoot research. Lauren grew up in the woods, learning how to cast tracks, search for evidence, and compile data from a young age. Her mother was a veteran female researcher and taught her everything she knows. In 2008, they started one of the first Bigfoot shows on Blog Talk Radio, where they would interview researchers and share information. Fast forward to today, and Lauren is back on air, interviewing researchers once again on YouTube. She's been on hiatus for the past year, but she's coming back next month with even more exciting content. She's a big supporter of getting kids outside and involved in Bigfoot research, and she even takes her own kids on expeditions. Lauren's research is mainly focused on East Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, but she's been all over the United States for conferences, festivals, and expeditions. She gives a presentation called "Littlefooters, the Next Generation," which teaches parents how to get their kids outside and involved in Bigfoot research in a safe and fun way. One interesting topic that came up in the podcast was Dogman. Lauren admitted that she doesn't have much interest in Dogman being a real thing, as it scares her. She hasn't found any evidence to support Dogman, but she knows that there are a lot of people dedicating podcasts and research teams to the topic. Overall, this was a fantastic episode of the Cryptid Wilderness Research podcast, and we highly recommend checking it out.
