Randy and his friend Steve were playing hockey at a barn one winter night when Steve decided to head home. As he walked, he called Randy and Nick to warn them about the monsters in the field that were going to grab them. The brothers were skeptical, but Steve was hysterical, claiming that three Bigfoot had jumped out on the road and almost grabbed him. He could still see the tracks in the snow, and they stayed visible for a couple of days until the snow filled them in again. The tracks led from the woods, across a big field, and towards Lake Erie, which was frozen at the time. This encounter took place in an area with a big field and a swampy area, which might still be inaccessible today. The Bigfoot were likely coming up from the valley down 240, which runs through the Alany State Park area and leads to Canada. Randy mentioned that he saw Steve one last time before he passed away last year. When Randy brought up the encounter, Steve turned pale and started shaking. He had never told anyone about it in over 50 years, as it had scared him terribly. This account adds to the growing number of sightings in the Western New York area.
