In the video, Patrick shares his terrifying encounter with a mysterious creature while bow hunting in Missouri. On October 13th, 2016, Patrick was hunting for food due to financial struggles. He had been noticing the deer disappearing for about a week prior to the 13th, and he thought they had gone into an early rut. Since this was a matter of survival, he asked his sister if he could do a night hunt to see what he could find. As it got dark, Patrick dozed off around 8:00 p.m. He was sound asleep having a dream and actually drooling down his chin when he was awakened. At 2:00 a.m., he heard a loud noise that sounded like a massive, angry gorilla breaking branches and trees. He thought to himself, "Is that a gorilla?" But the creature made another sound that sounded like a howler monkey. Then it started making a noise Patrick had never heard before. It was a snarling, growling sound like the one you hear on the Sierra sounds. At that point, Patrick started praying to God because he didn't want to see what was making these sounds. The beast eventually left, and Patrick was too scared to leave his blind for fear it would get him. A couple hours later, he heard it in the distance making the same howls, but it was much further away. He eventually fell asleep, but when his alarm on his phone went off the next morning and woke him up, he ripped the battery from his phone to silence it because he was afraid the beast would hear it and come back. Patrick stayed in the blind until it was sufficiently light before he went back to his sister's house. He told her about his encounter, and she told him that she had heard screams that sounded like a woman. Ever since she lived there, she had heard screams like a woman, and on a couple of occasions, she had heard bipedal movement behind her house by her bedroom. And on one occasion, she had found reddish brown hair about 4 in long the next day on the bob wire fence. But that was back in the 70s. Patrick's oldest daughter and her boyfriend were 17 at the time. Her boyfriend proceeded to tell Patrick that his father and a friend of his were looking at some property. He was thinking about farming that was about a mile away from where Patrick's incident occurred and about a year earlier. He said his father said it was about dusk and described the same sounds Patrick had heard. He and his friend got nervous and got back in their car. When they started it up and tried to drive away, the rear end of the car was lifted off the ground. His dad said when he looked back, all he could see was a dome-shaped head and shoulders covered with hair. It dropped the car and they left. Almost a year to the day, Patrick went back exploring the cave with his girlfriend who didn't believe in his encounter. One day, they were leaving when they heard a series of howls from different directions right at dusk. She looked at him, eyes as big as saucers, and said, "What was that?" And he said, "Well, it wasn't coyotes or dogs or people." A few days later, they were back again and they were still at the cave. When from across the river, he heard the sounds like a gorilla again.
