Campers in King Canyon National Park are left stunned after a close encounter with a Sasquatch. In a video posted on the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch, a witness recounts the terrifying experience he and his cousin had while camping at Stony Creek.
According to the witness, they had been camping in the area for many years and had always felt a strange presence in the woods. But it wasn't until 2002 that they had their first real encounter.
The witness and his cousin had set up a tent on the outskirts of their campsite, far from the rest of their family. That night, they could hear branches breaking in the woods, but they didn't think much of it since many people went out to gather firewood.
But around 2 a.m., they were awakened by two giant vibrating footsteps coming closer and closer to their tent. The witness described the feeling as if the ground was rippling, like in the movie Jurassic Park.
The witness and his cousin quickly covered their mouths to avoid making any noise, and they could feel the Sasquatch standing outside their tent, waiting to see if anyone would make a sound.
After what felt like an eternity, the Sasquatch touched the witness's foot through the tent wall. The witness described the feeling as a blunt, round, warm object touching his foot and slowly moving up his leg.
The witness was frozen with fear, but he managed to rip his foot back, and the Sasquatch made a low grunt and walked away.
The next morning, the witness didn't think to look for tracks or anything since he thought it was a bear. But something in the back of his head tells him it wasn't.
The video also shows what appears to be a Sasquatch footprint in the woods, with a deep impression that looks like it could have been made by a large, hairy creature.
The witness says he will never forget the feeling of the Sasquatch touching him that night, and he feels better being able to tell his story. He encourages others to come to King Canyon National Park and experience the mystery for themselves.
We at Squatchable encourage our readers to watch the video for themselves and share their thoughts in the comments section. Who knows, maybe you'll have your own Sasquatch encounter!
