They stopped to rest, and the employee suggested that the area looked like a place where Bigfoot might stay. As they sat quietly, they heard a loud sound like a big limb falling from a tree. The limb fell in a location where it wasn't possible for it to have fallen naturally, and they heard something moving on the other side of the mountain. When John saw the creature come down the tree, he described it as blacker than a shadow. It had eye shine, which he remembers being a yellowish, amberish orange color.
