Bigfoot enthusiasts, we've stumbled upon a fascinating video that's been making waves on YouTube! The video, posted by thewrightsights, takes us to the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Celina, Ohio, where we find the largest wood carved Sasquatch statue in the world.
This massive Bigfoot statue, named Nelson the Sasquatch, is a brand new roadside attraction in the United States. It's only been there for a year, and it's a must-see for any Bigfoot enthusiast!
The statue, which stands at an impressive 27 feet tall, was built during the solar eclipse of 2024, and it took 5 and 1/2 days to build this beast of a monster. The shoulders of the statue are 18 ft wide, and the foot is a whopping seven feet, size 98!
The statue weighs a staggering amount, but the information board at the site doesn't reveal the exact weight. However, we do know that the head alone weighed 600 lb. The creators had to hoist the head up with a big crane!
The city leaders of Salina, Ohio, are proud of this statue, and there's a reason for that. Ohio is known for its Bigfoot sightings, and the Travel Channel has even done shows on the state's wooded areas, claiming that people have seen Sasquatch in the hills and woods of Ohio.
If you're anywhere close to Salina, we highly recommend making a trip to see this incredible statue. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive Bigfoot himself!
So, grab your camera and head on over to Salina, Ohio, to see Nelson the Sasquatch statue. And who knows, you might just catch a glimpse of the real Bigfoot while you're there! Happy Bigfoot hunting!
