One night, as the rest of the family retired to bed, her mother decided to stay outside and enjoy the quiet. Suddenly, she was startled by a creature putting its paws on her shoulders. The crew was baffled, trying to comprehend the strength and number of people it would take to carry out such a feat. The narrator's son and his family were living in a house on a mountain when they heard a branch snap behind them. They stopped to look but found nothing. However, 100 feet away, something growled from the trees. The narrator, standing next to a tree with a double trunk, saw two black hair-covered legs and tan-colored feet walk past them. They quickly disappeared, and the forest was dead silent. The narrator and her son returned to the house, and they saw a large shape standing on two feet watching them from the trees. The figure was estimated to be 8 feet tall and probably 4 feet wide at the shoulders. It had no neck appearance and had arms hanging down to its sides. The figure left them alone but stayed there for 20 minutes, just watching them.
