Dwayne, who was between eight and ten years old at the time, was visiting his friend's house in Roy, Washington, near Muk Creek. While playing near the water, Dwayne heard strange noises coming from the brush behind him. At first, he thought they were just snakes, but as he caught more and more of them, he realized that something was off. After filling a coffee can with the "water snakes," Dwayne heard even more strange noises coming from the brush. This time, he saw a large boulder in the water, with brush surrounding it. As he listened, he heard cracking and creaking sounds, followed by splashes. Dwayne assumed that the snakes were jumping into the water, but when he showed his friend the can full of snakes, he was told that there were no water snakes in the area. Despite this, Dwayne and his friend continued to play near the water, eventually going for a ride on the friend's horse, named Sasquatch. As they rode, Dwayne couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching them. The interviewer, William Jevning, is no stranger to Bigfoot encounters himself. In 1976, he and three of his friends had a harrowing experience at the Clark Ranch in Washington, where they were surrounded by at least four Bigfoot creatures for the entire night.
