Florida and Washington Bigfoot Sightings of the 1980s: Evidence and Protection

The video, titled "Scary Bigfoot Stories for Sleep, Volume 1," features several terrifying accounts of encounters with the elusive creature. One of the stories takes place in Walton County, Florida, where a 13-year-old boy had not one, but two encounters with a large, unknown hair-covered creature presumed to be a Bigfoot. The primary witness provides an extraordinarily detailed description of the creature, which was 9 feet tall with long reddish-brown hair, a white blaze running from its throat to its groin, and a white beard covering its chin. The creature's nose, ears, upper cheeks, palms, and soles were hairless and black-skinned, with a flat and wide nose and brown eyes like a hamster's with no visible whites. The boy's first sighting occurred when he was walking along a clay road near his home and spotted the creature watching him from the dense woods. The second encounter was even more frightening, as the massive human-like creature stood just 10 feet away, separated only by a small bush. The two remained locked in a silent standoff for several minutes before the creature turned its head to fully face the boy and let out a low growl before walking away into the forest. The family discovered two sets of massive footprints in the area, measuring 17 1/2 inches and 16 inches long, each showing distinct toes, a defined arch, and a deep heel imprint. The boy's mother also recalled seeing small trees twisted and broken, a phenomenon often reported in Bigfoot cases. Another story in the video takes place in Defunia Springs, Florida, where a woman named Dawn Smith experienced a terrifying and unexplained event on October 1st, 1987. She returned home at 9:00 p.m to find that something had attacked the parrot cage on her porch, crushing the wire mesh inward and forcibly bending open the doors. Feathers were scattered everywhere, and three parrots were found alive but injured with deep wounds on their backs and their tails ripped off. Another bird was dead, its wings completely torn off, and two birds were missing altogether. Strangely, reddish-brown hairs were found caught in the damaged cage, but no tracks or clear evidence could be linked to a Bigfoot. The timing and proximity of the attack to other Bigfoot sightings in the region raise serious questions, as some investigators dismiss the attack as unrelated. However, others believe it could be a predator attack or something far more intelligent. The video also features stories from Schemania County, Washington, where Bigfoot is more than just a legend. During the 1960s, reports of Bigfoot sightings surged, leading to an unprecedented event where the county government passed an ordinance making it illegal to harm or kill a Sasquatch. In 1969, Schemania County passed ordinance number 69-01, which formally recognized the possibility of Bigfoot's existence and made it punishable by law to premeditatedly and willfully slay a Sasquatch.
