A fascinating account of a close encounter with a juvenile Sasquatch has been shared on The Cryptid Podcast YouTube channel. The witness, Curtis, describes his experience when he was just 10 or 11 years old, while visiting his grandparents' property in Beckley, West Virginia. Curtis was walking along an old logging road, making his way to a trash pile where he would often shoot cans with his BB gun or .22. As he approached the area, he felt as though he was being watched. Suddenly, he saw a juvenile Sasquatch, approximately six feet tall with long orange hair and skinny limbs, hiding behind a tree. Curtis and the creature locked eyes for a brief moment before the Sasquatch stepped out from behind the tree. The creature's demeanor then changed drastically, becoming aggressive and displaying its teeth. Startled, Curtis ran back up the mountain to his grandparents' house, with the Sasquatch in pursuit. Although he didn't see the creature again, he was shaken by the encounter. Years later, when Curtis was 20, he had another peculiar experience while hunting on his grandparents' land. He shot a deer early one morning and went back to the house to eat and give the animal time to expire. When he returned to the site of the kill, he discovered drag marks and the deer had vanished. Curtis couldn't help but think of the Sasquatch he had encountered as a child, and how it may have been connected to the mysterious disappearance of the deer. As a Squatchable editor, I find Curtis's account captivating and full of intrigue. The details he provides, from the creature's appearance to its behavior, suggest a genuine encounter with a juvenile Sasquatch.
