A group of friends set out on a quest to find Bigfoot in Katusa, Oklahoma, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. According to a video from the YouTube channel Daily Cryptid, one member of the group, Omar, accidentally shot and injured another member, Joseph, while startled by a noise in the woods. The group then disposed of the gun and called the police, with Omar and the other two members, Lacy and Perry, being taken into custody. Joseph survived the shooting, but the incident serves as a reminder of the dangers that can arise when exploring the great outdoors.
In another incident from 2024, two men went missing in the Guilford Pinket National Forest in Portland, Oregon while searching for Sasquatch. After a coordinated search effort, their bodies were found, and it is believed that they died due to exposure. The video does not provide any further information on the identities of the missing men.
On a more positive note, there was a sighting of a 12-foot tall Bigfoot in Pontat County, Oklahoma in 2022. According to the video, Larry Sanders and Jimmy Knighton were fishing for catfish when Larry spotted the Sasquatch downstream. Jimmy then howled into a drainage pipe, possibly in an attempt to communicate with the creature. However, things took a dark turn when Larry became paranoid and attacked Jimmy, ultimately taking his life. Larry confessed to the murder and was found guilty of first-degree murder.
It's good to remember that while the search for Bigfoot can be an exciting and rewarding endeavor, it's crucial to always prioritize safety and be aware of the potential dangers that can arise in the wilderness. These incidents serve as a reminder to always be prepared and to always have a plan in place in case of emergencies.
