Have you ever heard of "fairy lights" or "spook lights" - unexplained lights that appear in wooded areas, often at night? A video posted on the YouTube channel LordCryptid has been circulating among the Bigfoot community, and it appears to show just such a phenomenon.
During a Bigfoot expedition in Oscoda, Michigan, the group noticed strange white lights that looked like fireflies but weren't. They couldn't be captured on camera, but other people saw them too. Later, a smaller group returned to the location to try to record the lights and any sounds that might accompany them.
One of the still photographs taken during this expedition shows a small point of light in the distance, which wasn't there in a previous version of the same shot. The group also captured a blue light in a photograph, which was not in the center of the frame and was zoomed in on.
But perhaps the most intriguing part of the video is the audio. While observing the lights, the group reported feeling a "horrible cold chill" and a "sense of creepy dread." One member described it as feeling like something was grabbing them, while another compared it to a "cold breeze" that wasn't actually windy.
The group also reported seeing "teeny points of light" along a tree line that were only there for a brief moment before disappearing.
Of course, as with any paranormal phenomenon, there are those who are skeptical. Some have suggested that the lights could be explained by swamp gas, ball lightning, or even headlights from a nearby road. Others have suggested that the feeling of dread could be attributed to a fear of the unknown or the dark.
But for those of us who believe in the existence of Bigfoot, these lights and the accompanying feelings of dread are just one more piece of evidence in the search for this elusive creature.
